Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. acquires norflurazon assets from Syngenta

Solicam® herbicide will be marketed by the NovaSource® business unit of TKI

PHOENIX – Feb. 11, 2015 – Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI) announced today the purchase of the herbicide assets of norflurazon (Solicam®) from Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC.

SOLICAM is used for control of grass and broadleaf weeds in citrus, alfalfa, peanuts, tree fruits and nuts, caneberries, grapes, asparagus, and other crops.

NovaSource acquires the global norflurazon assets including trade names, registrations, and knowhow.

NovaSource is the crop protection business unit of TKI and is responsible for developing and marketing crop protection products for niche agricultural markets globally.

TKI produces and markets specialty chemical solutions, including fertilizers, crop protection chemicals and process chemicals and services to diverse markets around the world. TKI operates 11 manufacturing plants in North America in addition to an extensive terminal network. TKI is a subsidiary of Tessenderlo Group, Brussels, Belgium.
